How can you make a myspace scroll box that wont show pictures? (e.g. you have a banner that you want

i have a band profile that i want people to be able to take a banner code from and paste on there profile. But each time i make a scroll box and put the code in it, the banner shows up instead of the code. how can i do it so that the code will be there instead?
